Summer learning loss can have long-term consequences, potentially hindering academic progress and increasing the likelihood of students falling behind. So this summer I took a leap of faith and partnered with Coach Latriece, founder of HeartQuest STEAM Prep, for one-on-one reading support for Anaya and Amar'e. The assessments targeted their strengths and opportunities, which has encouraged them to overcome the challenges they faced this past year.
